Job Description
Mavshack Movies is a global subscription service that delivers SVOD (streaming video on demand) services for Asian digital entertainment. The service provides unlimited access to high quality streaming of live sports, movies, TV shows and audio books. Content is distributed via streaming and hosting providers Akamai and Amazon cloud for direct playback via smartphones, tablets, TV boxes, Smart TVs etc.

Subscriptions are sold through the App Store, Google Play and Amazon, as well as through Mavshack Movies’ own channels. Through cooperation with distributors and suppliers, the service is available in over 80 different countries. We offer payment options tailored to our different markets, Direct carrier billing has created the opportunity to offer the services even to people who do not have payment cards. Our services are not tied to the countries in which users are located, but the volume of streamed content is greatest in the Middle East, USA, Canada, UK and Australia. The majority of our subscribers are Indians and Filipinos living outside their home countries.

About the Technical Sales Support Service
As Technical Sales Support at Mavshack, you work in the administrative department with content and support questions from customers.
Your role will be very varied and includes everything from administration, support to sales and technical pieces that include knowledge in video / streaming issues, both software and hardware.
Your contact areas are many and you will have daily contact with customers from several different countries.

Since your role will include both administrative and technical support, you are unique in your position, but of course you have the support of your many competent colleagues around you. Through your solidarity personality and strong future spirit you drive the business forward and also have good opportunity to grow together with the company.

… open, loyal and careful and you manage to keep calm even though it sometimes gets a bit stressful. You have a keen technical interest and are a master at communicating with various stakeholders with clarity and responsiveness. You are therefore just as good at doing an impact calculation as you are about explaining to the customer what is needed.

For this service you need some kind of technical experience and you probably have developed this knowledge in a previous employment in a practical profession or through training in a technical area – Above all we place great importance in your interest in our business areas.
You have a good problem-solving ability and are not afraid to try new things and take your own responsibility.

We are growing and need to employ 30 IT Technicians!

Your role

You will work on projects you create yourself from the beginning and help with other projects with existing codebase.

We expect you to:

• Have worked as an app developer for at least 3 years
• Has experience in both iOS and Android
• Has worked in Xcode
• Worked with Android Studio
• Experience of GitHub or similar version management system
• Published one or more apps in the Appstore and Google Play
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both written and spoken form

With 10 years of experience in offering technical solutions 24hTech offers streaming services, mobile payment alternatives such as Direct Carrier Billing and services for content production, e.g instance Augmented Reality. 24hTech always adapts solutions based on the client’s needs, regardless connection to current campaigns and marketing activities. With original developed technology for encryption and transcoding 24hTech can customize solutions exclusively according to the client’s needs and requirements.

What You Will Do
Verify and assess quality of incoming material to our platforms for both our internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with our stakeholders, internal and external, on requirements for changes and development to asset management applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand content needs and project priorities.
Support for content repository including ingestion, quality control and tagging of assets, as well as support and reporting
Work with stakeholders to support asset publishing to the retailer/distributor external facing sites.
Quality control on content ensuring contents are in order before distribution. Report back to content provider if not.
Manage internal and external user accounts for CMS, including QC of all new accounts
Work with the localization team to ensure files are set-up for localization
Assist in coordinating localization process of videos between internal teams and other stakeholders

Skills We’re Stoked About
2-4 years of digital asset management experience
Any formal training or schooling in library and info management, or media management a plus
Experience with Rights Management and Digital Rights Management is a plus
Experience with user support and training
Experience with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop
Experience with open source video encoding such as ffmpeg, x264, and the like partnered with scripting on a command line
Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
